The ASIS (anterior superior iliac spine) is the “pointy” part of your hip bone. Noticing its position in relation to the knee can help adapt its alignment with the leg, while also bringing awareness to the pelvis’s movement in the transverse plane. Ideally, movement in the transverse plane is dominant, but this motor pattern often gets “lost” due to being inhibited by sympathetic reflexes.
